Possible scammer approached me

Hey everyone, so today I was approached by someone working at the grocery store, who was doing an instacart shopping order.

He asked if I know about "redplugging" with crypto. I tried to clarify if he meant "rugpull" but he said no, that it was a new technique to make $.

He said he would wire money to my account to buy a certain crypto, and then it would skyrocket and I could sell.

My friend believes it's a scam, but is addicted to the get rich quick mentality, so he wants to find out more about it.

My friend told me: This guy will wire the money to your account, then will instruct you to buy a specific shit coin that he is a whale in. Then he will steal your liquidity, and a few days later the bank will start calling asking for this money back since the wired money was fake.

I'm curious if anyone has ever dealt with this. My friend really wants me to stay away from it, but I really want to see if it's legitimate.
