Goldman Sachs is holding my money hostage
I have a Roth IRA I opened with Goldman Sachs about 20 years ago.....I'm now trying to streamline and move all my money to Vanguard, which is where I have index funds for retirement savings and where the bulk of my money is. I initiated a transfer of the funds from my Goldman Sachs IRA to Vanguard back in November and was told it would take 4-6 weeks for the transaction to go through. More than 9 weeks later and the funds have still not transferred over. I have tried to contact Goldman Sachs repeatedly over the past few weeks, each time I have spent anywhere from 40-75 minutes on hold without anyone ever picking up my call. When I try to use the contact form on their website it requires a business email address, which I don't have as I am self-employed. I'm feeling completely stuck and my transfer request is about to expire, meaning I would have to start the process all over again.
